🥖 Crusty Bread Rolls (Bakery-Style)
These rolls have a crispy golden crust and a soft, fluffy inside—perfect for sandwiches, soups, or dinner.
🛒 Ingredients
- 3½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1½ cups warm water
- 2 tsp instant yeast
- 1½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp olive oil

👨🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Activate the Yeast
In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
2️⃣ Make the Dough
Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
3️⃣ Knead the Dough
Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
4️⃣ First Rise
Place dough in a lightly oiled bowl. Cover and let rise 1–1½ hours until doubled in size.
5️⃣ Shape the Rolls
- Divide dough into 8 equal pieces.
- Shape into round rolls.
- Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
6️⃣ Second Rise
Cover lightly and let rise 30 minutes.
7️⃣ Bake
- Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
- Lightly dust rolls with flour and make a small cut on top.
- Bake 18–22 minutes until golden brown.
